Book your next trip with Cuervos Sportfishing and find out what you're missing in Hatteras. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Chris knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bluefish, Skipjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Snowy Grouper, Almaco Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Chris can also show you kite fishing.
Trips with Cuervos Sportfishing are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to keep up those energy levels!
Your trip begins aboard a 54' Jim Smith sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Cuervos Sportfishing.

The fish were biting slow but the captain found the mahi for us . He also found a couple sails who were enticed to take the bait but apparently didn’t want to try the hooks . My first choice around here when we go again . The mate Will was great and really worked hard all day in the hot sun for us
