Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bluefish, Skipjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Snowy Grouper, Almaco Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Chris can also show you kite fishing.

Trips with Cuervos Sportfishing are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to keep up those energy levels!

Your trip begins aboard a 54' Jim Smith sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
