On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish. Capt. Laurin also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your trip begins aboard a 21' Chaparral convertible with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
