Ocean Flair – Ocean Life Charters 

If you're planning on fishing in Cape Town, look no further than Ocean Flair. Having logged many days on these waters, Captain Donavan knows them forwards and back.

Yellowtail, Roman, Skipjack, Black Bream, Dogfish, Cape Salmon, Kob, Snoek, Albacore Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

You'll be fishing from a 19' Billfish Forward Cabin with space for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Donavan will supply rods, reels and baits for you, along with a variety of lures. Live bait is used when available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish.

Your fishing license is easily obtainable online, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
