LSC Hooksetters – Walleye/Multi Species
Excited to cast a line in Harsens Island? That's what LSC Hooksetters is here for! Captain Mitchell will be your guide, giving you access to their sportfishing experience.
Also, be sure to spend the second half of your day exploring this amazing island.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Perch, Muskellunge (Musky), and who knows what else! On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using light tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your day begins aboard a 21' aluminum fishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Mitchell was one of the best captains! He made sure we were taken care of the entire trip. He got us a ton of fish that we couldn’t get in Kentucky and he was very personable. He created a memory that we will never forget. We plan on booking with him some time again this year for sturgeon fishing.

it was an awesome trip! thanks again guys couldnt ask for a better fourth of july!
