You'll be trolling from a 19' Skeeter fiberglass fishing boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels and all the tackle.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Captain Austin Nicholls was great with my 11 and 13 year old grandsons! He helped them land their first kings out on Lake Michigan. The 13 year old nailed a 15 pounder and two smaller ones. The 11 year old nailed a six pound king and a seven pound steelhead!!! I took a turn and got a six pound king. The bite died when the sun came out so we were glad that Captain Austin knew this and had us come out earlier than the usual 5 am starting time. i captured the action on video and in pictures. I highly recommend Get’Em Charter with Captain Austin Nicholls!

Nice experience
Could’ve been a disaster. We had an east wind and one nasty chop but Austin wisely suggested we delay a little bit and then drove us out of the harbor trimmed up keeping us high and dry. The fish were slow o respond early but about 8:30 they just set to into feeding frenzy and it was all hands on rods. We ended up with a nice bunch of fish and a new friend. I highly recommend Net em charters. Austin is friendly,knowledgeable and competent.
I took a salmon charter with Captain Austin and had a great experience. He was communicative, educational and worked hard to put us on fish. Thanks Captain Austin, I’ll be back next season with my son for another trip!
