Depending on the season, you’ll have the opportunity to reel in a variety of prized species, including Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho (Silver) Salmon, Pink Salmon, Chum Salmon. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned angler, Captain Doug tailors each trip to suit your experience and fishing goals.
You’ll fish aboard a 30' Grady-White cuddy cabin boat that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Outfitted with advanced downriggers and all the essential gear, this vessel is built for both comfort and performance. Plus, there’s a clean onboard toilet, which makes fishing trips comfortable for families and groups.
Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, and lures—no need to bring a thing except your excitement. Don’t have a fishing license? No problem. Captain Doug can issue a one-day license onboard for just $13 (required for all guests aged 16 and older).
To make the most of your day, bring sunglasses, bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and your favorite drinks (beer is welcome in moderation—please skip the hard liquor and glass containers). If you’re not sure about something, just ask!

He was very good at instructing novice salmon fishermen into a 4 salmon limit for a 16 boat limit. Captain was very informative- even giving cooking and storage tips for the fillets he prepared for us. As a bonus at the end of the day we got to watch a group of seals feeding off the scraps from cleaning. Overall a very good day on the water.

Great day on the water! We had good fishing action all day and Capt. Doug was not only a great captain, but a wealth of fishing knowledge and information. The vessel was clean, organized, and you could really see his experience in the way everything just worked. Everything had its place, everything ran smoothly, and we were able to just enjoy the day and fish. Great experience and would absolutely fish with Capt. Doug again! P.S. We also caught and took home some great-sized salmon! 🎣

I've been passionate about fishing since I was five years old, when my dad gave me my first rod, reel, and tackle box — a moment that sparked a lifelong connection to the water. Growing up, I fished for bass, crappie, and catfish, and that early excitement only grew stronger as I explored new species and waters across the globe, including during my time in the U.S. Navy. After moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1990, I became deeply committed to mastering its diverse fisheries and eventually turned that passion into a full-time career as a charter captain and fishing guide, operating since 2008. What drives me in this industry is more than the thrill of the catch — it's the opportunity to share unforgettable outdoor experiences, help people connect with nature, and witness the pure joy of someone landing their first fish in these incredible waters.
