These waters are known for Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Goliath Grouper, Cobia, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and a variety of sharks, with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children under 7 must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be dropping lines from a 21' Cobia center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, bait and tackle waiting for you.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, anything snacks you'd like, and sunglasses. Water will be provided on the boat you're welcome to being other drinks. if you'd like. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Matt was a great captain and very knowledgeable with the area and what we were targeting. we caught lots of fish despite slow fishing conditions. He was very interactive with our kids letting them help him for a very enjoyable experience. i would recommend this charter for anyone with a family looking for a fun adventure and some great fishing. Thank you Matt and Marco Fishing Company for a great first fishing experience in florida and hope to look you up again on our next trip!
Usually I get super sea sick but our captain was amazing he knew what he was doing the view was amazing and we caught lots of fish would highly recommend
Capt Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! We caught many fish and a suntan from the great weather of Marco Island. Five out of five stars.

In advertising this boat on FishingBooker, the owner of the fishing company is listed as the captain of this boat. They specifically mention that there are no reviews because this is a new boat and not because of anything else. I took a bit of a risk because I believed I was signing up for a captain experienced in these particular waters. While our captain was very nice, and accommodating, he had never fished these waters before. He had never been on this boat before this trip, and as such, he ran aground 3 times during our trip, and had to learn how to use the trolling motor on the fly. While we caught a fair number of fish, it was nothing but small (like really small) sheepshead and small snappers. Not the kind of trip you pay $600 for. On top of that, the gear was really only set up for the smallest catch. I wrote to the owner of the business and he suggested I contact him outside of FishingBooker (which I did). I gave him 2 chances to make it right, and I've not heard back. I don't expect every trip to be awesome, but this was particularly disappointing given the premium this company asks.
