Local species include Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and more with any luck. Depending on the fish you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Fishing on these trips is limited to catch and release.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your adventure begins aboard a 21' Phoenix bass boat with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Garrett will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Water and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

After graduating high school in 2011 I was ate up with bass fishing. I worked in the fishing industry for 10 years. In between work I would travel and fish tournaments from Florida to New York. In the beginning of 2022 I left my full time job and became a full time guide and tournament angler. I spend my summers in NY and winters in FL where I am from. I really enjoy guiding!
