Make some memories in Orange Beach and go out with Fins and Family Fishing! We have a variety of trips including Inshore, Nearshore (around 3 miles out), and Offshore (up to 9 miles out). We also have great success with our 2-Hour 'Matinee' - great for kids or 1st time salt water fishermen.
Our Inshore trip (3, 4, or 5 hours) goes all around the bay for the inshore favorites - you might hook a Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout or anything else cruising through. This trip is also great for those who are looking for the calmer waters of the bay and being closer to shore.
Our Nearshore (3 or 4 hours) and Deep Sea trips (4, 5, or 6 hours) head out into the ocean and range from 3-9 miles out. On these trips we typically catch Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, or a variety of Sharks. Depending on time of year, we also catch King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, Amberjack, Pompano, and other species that may be migrating through the area.
Our 2-Hour Matinee is great for kids or newer fishermen that want to get a feel of what Saltwater fishing is all about. This is a great trip to go out and catch some fish, experience the thrill, enjoy the scenery, yet be out a shorter amount of time. We take the time to show newer fisherman what they need to do and give as much help as they need throughout the trip to make sure everyone has a blast.
Your excursion will be aboard our late model 25' Sea Hunt bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It has a great casting platform and room to spread out of the fishing, with cushioned seats for comfort while you're heading to the next spot.
Captain Chris Ward has over 25 years of fishing these waters, so he can get you to a variety of places with the best chance to catch excellent fish. We look forward to having you on board!

This was our first time going on a fishing expedition. It was a fun experience especially for the grandkids. We didn’t bring home the fish to cook but Chris did try. Fish were snipping at the bait but nothing big. We all Caught something to at least get a picture. It was more about fun and family time for us. I’m glad we got to meet Chris. If you are looking for a trip he is the one to pick.
We booked a shark fishing trip. We got a couple of bites, but no big catch on this trip. But anyone that truly fishes knows you can’t always get the big catch, and some days you may not get any bites at all thats just part of it. Captain Chris however did try his absolute best to make things happen, and we truly thank him for that. I would definitely recommend Fins and Family Fishing. We had fun, and laughed a lot, and even though we didn’t catch “The Shark” I plan to book with this charter again in the future. #ROLL TIDE

It was a good trip we caught three keeper redfish and a nice flounder. I gave the trip 4 stars only because in my book in order to get 5 stars we would have had to limited out. It was a good time and I would recommend Fins and Family Fishing and captain Chris to anyone. The only thing you should know before you go is if you prefer to fish a baitcaster reel you better bring it with (which I did) otherwise you'll be fishing with spinning reels.

The weather didn’t do us any favors, but Chris worked hard to get us on fish. He had good knowledge of the area and helped make sure we had a good day out on the water.

We fished in the wake of a tropical storm. It was tough going but Chris worked to find us a spot to catch fish. We were able to catch a few. It was an enjoyable trip even though the fish weren’t cooperating.
