Salty Beard Escapes 

Make an adventure out of your next trip to Oslo and go fishing with Salty Beard Escapes. Captain Halfdan will be your host, skipper and guide, allowing you to benefit from his fishing experience, local knowledge, and friendly demeanor.

Top target is Atlantic Mackerel but we sometimes also try for Hornet, Spotted Seatrout, Sea Bass, and others. That said, we want you to experience the beautiful Oslofjord nature and wildlife as much as the fishing.

During the trip you will mostly be trolling, but maybe we decide to stop for some jigging and bottom fishing.

Please note that due to local regulations we must travel 2 hours south before we can start fishing. That is why this is just as much a full Oslofjord experience as a fishing trip.

You'll be casting lines from a 26' center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible (1 max). There is also a full canopy cover in case of rain.

Rods and reels are included, but if you have special requests feel free to ask the captain ahead of you trip.

Don't forget to bring sunblock, bottled water, food for the day, clothes suitable for the season, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
