Trips with Brad's Saltwater Adventures are kid-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 19' Blue Wave center console that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Brad will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

f you’re after trout, redfish and flounder in Port Aransas, you won’t find a better guide than Brad’s Saltwater Adventure! Brad knows these waters like the back of his hand and had us on fish almost immediately. His knowledge of the tides, structure, and fish behavior is incredible, and it showed all day long. We caught some beautiful redfish and flounder, and Brad worked tirelessly to keep us on the bite. He was patient, encouraging, and always happy to share tips that helped us become better anglers. The boat was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. What impressed us most was how hard Brad works to make sure everyone has an amazing day. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to create a fun, successful trip. If you’re planning a fishing trip to Port Aransas and want the best chance at landing trophy redfish and delicious flounder, book with Brad’s Saltwater Adventure. We’ll definitely be back—it was one of the best guided fishing trips we’ve ever had!
Brad was awesome to fish with and learn from, i do quite a bit of salt water fishing year to year when i can, being from west Texas. Brad is also a vertern and former police officer which i thought was awesome, a lot of cool conversations and 5 different species of fish caught. including a over sized drum that got off right next to the boat!!! it was a awesome fight! was a awesome experience! we beat a storm, came back out and fished way over the time limit because Brad wanted to get my trout limit. left with some awesome memories and fillets! thanks Brad. fish with Brad and you wont be let down one way or another he will make it a great experience and adventure on the water!
Brad knows these waters VERY WELL! This will not be the last time we charter with Brad, my son and I look forward to going out again soon. We had a great time with Captain Brad. Tough day (hot, not a lot of bites), but his patience and persistence finally allowed us to get into some black drum (in addition to some smaller fish and a couple rays). Just had a delicious lunch of our catch at a local restaurant. Highly recommend!
My son and I had a great trip. Brad was the best It was slow at first and he worked hard all day to put us on the fish. We were on our way back fishing trip over. He saw some reds and turned the boat around just so we could catch a few more fish
