Marsh Addict Guide Service specializes in solo, one-on-one fishing trips around West Galveston Bay, Chocolate Bay, and the surrounding waters. Most of our trips are spent wade fishing and throwing artificial lures for speckled trout and redfish.
You don’t have to be an expert to book a trip with me. In fact, one of my favorite parts of guiding is teaching. If you want to learn how to fish artificial lures, improve your wade fishing, understand how to read the water, choose the right lure, or simply become a more confident angler, I’ll work with you at your pace. There’s no pressure and no reason to feel intimidated.
For the more experienced angler, we can put our heads down, cover water, and hunt for quality fish — especially those big Galveston Bay trout we all dream about.
These trips aren’t about racing back to the dock with a cooler full of fish. They’re about learning, enjoying the water, becoming a better angler, and hopefully fooling a big one along the way.

I grew up fishing Galveston Bay, and it's been a big part of my life ever since. Most of my trips focus on speckled trout using artificial lures, often wade fishing the flats and shorelines. Mornings on the bay are hard to beat—watching the sun come up, the water calm, and everything slowly waking up feels like starting the day with a blank canvas. I keep things relaxed and easy, always happy to help with artificial baits and share what I'm seeing along the way. Whether you're new to wading or have experience, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, enjoy the moment, and have a good time on the water.
