Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Great Barracuda, Queenfish, Kingfish, Hamour Grouper, and whatever else is biting. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Oceanic Journeys are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

You'll be fishing aboard a 34' Sportfishing with capacity for 7 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Arif will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
