If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Local Stix Outdoor Charters. With Captain Sergio at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, Bluegill, Bowfin, Clown Knife Fish, Snook, Tarpon, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! For these species, you're likely to spin or even cast a popping cork using light tackle. Capt. Sergio also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!
Your day begins aboard a 20' Ranger aluminum fishing boat with space for 3 passengers. It has a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Local Stix Outdoor Charters!
