These waters hold game fish like Thresher Shark, Atlantic Mackerel, Bull Shark, Black Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, Blacktip Shark, Cobia, Redfish, Flounder, Bluefish, Atlantic Croaker, Black Drum, and more, depending on conditions. On these trips, it's common to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your trip begins aboard a 24' Carolina Skiff with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
