Are you eager to reel in your ideal catch? Join Rod Bender Sport Fishing of Maui for an unforgettable fishing adventure. Captain Chris Serra, with over 15 years of fishing experience in Maui's waters, will be your guide for the day.

We target Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo (Ono) and more with any luck.

On these trips, you can expect to troll in between the islands of Maui and Lanai, as well as along the scenic Maui coastline. In whale season (December - April), expect to see many whales spouting and breaching to and from fishing areas.

We are a family friendly crew and kids are absolutely welcome! Our boat is comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. We provide non alcoholic beverages and snacks, but please do bring a lunch and anything else you would like to eat or drink.

Capt. Serra runs an immaculate 35' Cabo Sport Fisher that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, A/C, kitchen and living room, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
