If you're ready to start fishing in the central Mediterranean sea, we've got you covered with Mister Fish Charters. Captain Jonathan will be your guide, bringing aboard their sportfishing experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Bluefish, Skipjack, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Atlantic Mackerel, Albacore Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and anything else that bites. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You can bring home any fish you catch, assuming regulations allow it.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Jonathan will have some on board!
Your boat for the day is a 18' centre console with room for 4 passengers comfortably. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and hats. There will be drinks on board, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks available too.

The skipper was clearly into his fishing and took us to different loxations close to the tuna farms but unfortunately we didnt catch anything. We had 3 rods out and the only thing i did for the whole 4 hour trip was to reel one rod in once. The skipper did everything. I know it was a trip specifically for tuna but it might be worth considering having a couple of rods tgat could be used for catching other types of fish whilst waiting.
Johnathan a bien fait d’insister pour me vendre une sortie au Thon … Le guide Mark a mis tout en oeuvre pour trouver les thons en activité et a fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme. Un départ de folie et un joli combat pour mon 1er Thon estimé entre 50 et 60 kg. Un combat qui restera gravé a vie. Quel poisson de sport … Merci Mark, merci Johnathan 👍

my boyfriend loves fishing so i got this as a birthday gift for him and he was SO happy! we caught 2 big albacore tunas which was so cool. the captain was amazing, very acommodating, on time and the whole trip went smoothly! next time we are in malta we will be booking this again!!!
