Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to target Sailfish, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Wahoo, Barracuda, Kingfish, Amberjack, Snapper, Tuna, and many other exciting Caribbean species. We use a variety of techniques including trolling, light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, jigging, drift fishing, and other productive local methods depending on conditions and seasonal patterns.
One of the advantages of fishing with us in Playa del Carmen is our quick access to deep offshore waters, allowing us to begin fishing within minutes after departure and maximize your time on the fishing grounds.
Your trip takes place aboard a comfortable 26' Imemsa panga equipped with quality fishing gear, outriggers, downriggers, electronics, safety equipment, and everything needed for a productive day on the water.
All fishing licenses, rods, reels, tackle, bait, bottled water, and soft drinks are included. Live bait may also be available depending on daily conditions.
Families and children are always welcome aboard. Our experienced crew will assist you every step of the way, share local knowledge, and ensure everyone enjoys a safe and successful day on the water.

What an incredible experience with ABIYAEL Sport Fishing RM! The highlight of the trip was watching my 10 year old son catch his very first fish, a beautiful mahi-mahi! Seeing the excitement on his face is a memory our family will never forget. Captains Danny and Johnny were outstanding from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, patient, and worked hard to put us on fish. They made my son feel comfortable and involved throughout the trip, which made his first offshore fishing experience even more special. We booked a half day afternoon trip. It was me, my wife, and our 4 teenage kids. Within the first 10 minutes we caught a Mahi Mahi. Shortly after, my wife and some of the kids got sea sick. The captain recognized the issue and adapted. He moved to calmer water. He also made a pivot to a swimming and snorkeling spot since getting out of the boat helps with sea sickness. He was right, swimming instantly had my crew feeling better. While we swam, they made us ceviche with the fish we caught. The ceviche ws delicious. Their adaptation to our needs was perfect.

Daniel & Johnny will work their tails off to make your trip a success. They were incredible guides and put us on trophy Mahi Mahi as well as barracuda! We capped a great day of fishing off by swinging by a reef and doing some snorkeling on the way back. They are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. 100% recommend.

Both Isaias and his mate Alex were great. Very personable and good with our 3 boys and called around to other boats and made sure we found the schools. Ended up with 11 fish including Mahi-mahi, Benito Tuna and a Baricuda. We had the restaurant cook up one of the mahi-mahi and it was very good! Would recommend and book again!

amazing trip icl water provided shade on the boat and two mahi mahi all i would suggest is that if you want catch and release you make it clear beforehand
