Goliath Grouper, Grunt, Hogfish, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Rainbow Runner, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
Capt. Ronn runs a 31' Cabo Yachts sportfishing vessel with room for 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. There will be some light snacks available on board.

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Ronn, he was an excellent source of information and experience. The first mate who managed the fishing was OK, communication was a little bit of a struggle. We caught a nice Mahi and a large Barracuda, nothing amazing but a solid fishing outing!
The guys didn't explain to us anything when we started the trip. we had to ask about everything. They didn't tell us where we're fishing, how far off shore we'll be. they didn't tell us what type of fishing we're doing, what fish we would expect to get. How to best fish in these waters. we had to ask all these questions to understand what's going on. The boat was going faster than expected, and the gas from the engines was a bit much, which gave us headaches.
