These waters are known for Flounder, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Redfish, Tripletail, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, you can expect to spin using light tackle. Capt. Stephen also offers fly fishing and will provide the industries best rods and reels.
Fishing on these trips is strictly for sport and everything you catch will be released. Capt. Stephen allows 1 Redfish to be kept per charter.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll find yourself aboard a 17' Ankona skiff that holds up to 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
