Depending on the season, you might hook into Striped Marlin, Skipjack Tuna, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Marlin, Wahoo, and who knows what else! During the trip you might be jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
