We are owned and operated by a born and raised local! Having logged many hours on this River, all captains at Calico Rock Trout Dock can get you on the fish!
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and whatever else takes the bait.
You can expect to do some spinning, drifting, bottom fishing, crankbait, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Our Captains at Calico Rock Trout Dock also offer fly fishing, and for that please call for pricing.
Trips with Calico Rock Trout Dock are family & kid-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children under 12 must wear life vests, but they do not need a license until they are 15.
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' specialty Flatbottom Boat built for the White River with capacity for up to 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a Restroom by the dock and various locations along the river for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods, reels bait & tackle & even a cooler with sodas and waters.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. License can be purchased online at Arkansas Game and Fish or in person at most Arkansas Walmart locations.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses (polarized if you got them), a hat, sunblock, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Lunch is provided at additional cost & request, shore lunch here is special and homemade, especially if you have any dietary needs.

Dosta često idemo na ribolov pastrmke, ali nikada nismo bili tretirani tako ljubazno i kao da smo jedini koji su u tom trenutku važili. Bio je to neverovatан dan! Svakako zatražite Dalasa kao vodiča! Ovaj mladić zna gde su prava mesta! Kladim se da smo ulovili i pustili najmanje 100 riba, a on je pobrinuo da isfilетira ulov za taj dan! Robin i Jeff, vraćamo se… Možda i više od jednom godišnje, sad kad smo vas pronašli!!!
To nam toliko, toliko znači, jako smo srećni što smo upoznali sve vas i do trenutka kada ste otišli, osećali ste se kao prijatelji! Vi ste baš naši ljudi i dobrodošli ste kod nas u bilo koje vreme!!!
Iznenadio sam svog sina od 12 godina njegovim prvim vođenim ribolovom pastrmke za rođendan! Robin i Jeffery su nas tretirali kao porodicu, i imali smo sjajno vremeловећи PUNO pastrmki!! Jedva čekamo da se vratimo i ponovimo to USKORO! Sledeći put planiramo da ostanemo ceo vikend kako bismo mogli duže da pecamo. 😉Hvala vam na divnom vremenu i uspomenama koje će ostati zauvek!! ❤️
