If you're ready to go fishing in Dauphin Island, we've got you covered with South Side Fishing. With Captain Derek at the helm, and almost two decades of experience on the water!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tripletail, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Derek welcomes you aboard a 22' Blazer Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
