Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Marlin, Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, African Pompano Jack, Yellowtail Amberjack, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Wahoo, Sierra Mackerel, and plenty more. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be welcome aboard a 30' cabin cruiser that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Great day fishing. We had time in our half day trip to chase a couple different species and saw steady action through most of the morning. Highly recommend, will use Captain David and crew next time we’re in Cabo.

My brother and I have fished out of San José del Cabo for 7 straight years, and this was the first time we had trouble finding our boat. The Capricho does not use the main marina, and the communication on where to meet was poor. Once we found the boat after a long story and about 1/2 mile walk, the operator and I had some words, and he threatened to not take us out. We came to terms and once aboard, the captain, David, was excellent and very professional. The fishing was slower than on some past trips, but we did catch bonita and a thresher shark, which was a memorable experience. I would fish with Captain David again, but would not use the Capricho again.

It was such a good day on the water (did a half day)! We all caught a tuna and then tried to go for a marlin for the last hour. I’d 100% use them again!

I’m an avid deep sea fisherman in Texas but wanted to have a Cabo experience. Booked last minute fishing and was lucky to get one. The fish wasn’t abundant during this time but managed to catch a rooster fish near shore and an Mahi Mahi offshore . Overall the captain seemed knowledgeable with 30 yrs experience . Ask for Captain Carlos if you book a trip.
