Bentup Fishing Charters
Book your next trip with Bentup Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in New Orleans is all about. Your guide for the day is Captain Ben, which allows you to benefit from their knowledge and experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Tripletail, and who knows what else!
From throwing hard baits to jigging the bottom artificial lures can produce some of the biggest trout. Live bait is always welcomed when marinas have the supply,
For the past few years, I've dedicated my trips to targeting big Trout. I know where they are because I've put in the time - not because an app told me.
Capt. Ben will teach you how to fish.
Capt. Ben runs a 23' Sportsman tournament edition center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Beer is allowed in moderation, no hard alcohol!
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Bentup Fishing Charters!
