Fish Tank Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Port Aransas. Captain Frank will be your guide, giving you access to their professional experience.
These waters are known for Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You'll be casting lines from a 23' Freedom Warrior center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Frank has rods and reels for you.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed.

Had an awesome trip out of Port Aransas with Captain Frank! My buddy and I fished with him and had a blast from start to finish. We got into redfish and speckled trout, and Frank kept us on fish all day, he wasn’t afraid to run to different spots until we found where they were biting. Frank clearly knows these waters inside and out. Great guy to spend a day on the boat with too, easygoing, professional, and you can tell he genuinely wants his customers to catch fish and have a good time. The boat was clean and well set up, and he handled everything so we could just focus on fishing. If you’re looking for a guided trip in Port Aransas, book with Captain Frank. We’ll definitely be back. Five stars all the way!
Capt Frank made the experience incredible. He’s kind and knowledgeable and great with all levels of experience. My kids (7 and 10) ended up catching about 15 fish with his guidance. We’ll definitely be back!
