Percy Priest Lake has a fish with your name on it, so let FishMaxx help you catch it! With Captain Josh at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Species like Garfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Catfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your vessel for the day is a 20' Tracker Pro deck boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with whatever lures or live bait we'll be using on your trip.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed.

Amazing day trip with Captain Josh
Half Day Tripna jul 8, 2025Captain Josh Logan was amazing! He was super patient with my wife who was inexperienced on a boat. He took the time to explain what we were doing and why, it made for a great experience for both of us. At one point a kinda bad storm rolled through, but Captain Josh knew just what to do to keep us safe, and still enjoy our time while waiting it out. If you’re looking for an amazing time on the water with a real professional, look no further you have found your Guide.

We caught 16 bass in a short trip. Had 4 on at one time..it was great
