Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Luhrs sportfishing vessel with space for 7 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bill will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had a great trip from start to finish. Captain Bill went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and Quintin, the first mate, was on it the entire time keeping the lines working and helping us land fish. I took my son out for the trip and we had a phenomenal morning on Lake Michigan. We caught some great salmon, including a 12.4-pounder that my son landed — and yes, he officially out-fished his dad. Great crew, great experience, and a trip we will definitely remember. I would absolutely recommend Captain Bill and Quintin to anyone looking to get out on Lake Michigan
Captain Bill and Pam were helpful, fun, and were so knowledgeable. We had 7 people and each of us caught 2 fish. This was the first time for 4 people on the boat and it was a wonderful trip and experience.
Captain Bill and crew are awesome. They let us handle the gear, not just real in like most charters we’ve been on.
