There's a fish with your name on it in Corpus Christi and CGS Unlimited Outdoors will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Chris G. Stolley, giving you access to their knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and more. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Chris can also take you Flounder gigging.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be casting lines from a 25' Majek Illusion bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as live and dead bait. Lure fishing is also an option. Be sure to inform the captain if that is your preferred method so he will have the proper tackle onboard.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock, sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed, but try to avoid glass bottles.
