Orca fishing charters 

Ready to catch some fish in Virginia Beach? Look no further than Orca charters! Captain Joseph will be your guide, offering their local experience.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Black Drum, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), White Marlin, Redfish, Rockfish, Black Seabass, Spadefish, Spanish Mackerel, Tautog, Tilefish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and more with any luck.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

You'll be casting lines from a 26' Center console that holds up to 5 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Joseph will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. There is no facility to clean fish on station, so please bring a cooler to take fish home with you.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, Dramamine(motion sickness pills)and a hat If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
