These waters are known for Yellowtail Amberjack, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Skipjack Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Cabos Fun Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your day begins aboard a 29' Blackfin sportfishing vessel with room for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
