Sea Star CR Charters
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Coco and go fishing with Sea Star CR. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Michael is prepared to put you on fish.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Great Barracuda, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Amberjack, Blue Marlin, Jack Crevalle, Striped Marlin, and more if conditions are right.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
You'll be dropping lines from a 31' Sportfishing with space for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Sea Star CR!
