Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Sailfish, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and plenty more.
On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish.
Children are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 42' Sportfishing with space for 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
