On these trips, you can expect to troll using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Sebastien also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear or rent it directly from him, as he works with Orvis gear.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available on board, but feel free to ask the captain ahead of time. Also, remember to bring snacks to keep your energy up throughout the trip!
Your boat for the day is a 36' Contender Fisharound that accommodates up to 6 passengers. It comes equipped with downriggers and all the essentials for a great day on the water. There's also a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask your captain, and they can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are non-aerosol sunscreen, a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks are included free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid spirits and glass bottles. Some light snacks will also be provided on board.
