For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Your boat for the day is a 24' Walkaround with capacity for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
