Cochran’s guide service
Make an adventure out of your next trip in the scenic Columbia river gorge and go fishing with Cochran’s guide service. With Captain Ryan at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Salmon, and plenty more.
On these trips, it’s common to troll.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
You'll step aboard a 21' Aluminum fishing that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Cochran’s guide service!
