Todays trip was outstanding, huge thanks to Capt. Rob and Alex. The boat was well-equipped, with shade and ice cold water if needed while having plenty of room to fish. First Mate Alex was enthusiastic, funny, helpful, and kept the energy up during the brief lull of catching fish. His positive attitude and great vibe made a welcoming experience for my two boys (7 & 4 years old) first time deep sea fishing. Capt. Rob was very patient and helpful with my 4 year old son. Despite the choppy water and fish being somewhat elusive, the trip was outstanding—largely thanks to Alex. When we did find fish, Alex was exceptional. The boat itself was clean, well-equipped, and more than capable, but Alex, the first mate, truly made the experience. He was enthusiastic, patient, and genuinely funny, keeping the energy high even when the action slowed. His positive attitude and great vibe made a noticeable difference for our entire family. We ended up catching wahoo, yellowfin, blackfin, and even some barracuda. After the trip, Alex expertly cleaned all the fish and recommended a nearby restaurant that cooked our catch immediately. They did a great job. we caught 2 black fin tuba, 2 bonito, and a barracuda in 4 hours. They expertly cleaned the fish while entertaining us and the pelicans. We delivered the fish to Hadicuri restaurant immediately at the dock, and we had an amazing fish dinner that night. Prepared 3 ways. Great bang for our entertainment dollars.

Robbie and Alex were fantastic! We chartered the boat for just the 2 of us and they made it an enjoyable and memorable experience for us. We caught Wahoo and Barracuda using both poles and handline. Alex offered great guidance and was very knowledgable with the area and fishing. He expertly cleaned and filleted our catch for us and offered a restaurant suggestion to prepare it. It was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend Sunrise Charters. We’ll be back for sure!

Had a great time on the Caroline with Captain Marcelino and Geo. Both were knowledgeable, super friendly, and made sure we had the help we needed to catch some great fish. Water was a little rough, but we managed to catch a really nice Wahoo and Baracuda. Boat was super clean (including bathroom) and was very comfortable. Brought our share of the catch to Nos Clubhuis next to the pier and they made us a delicious meal. Highly recommend!
