Fishy Bizness Charters
Make some memories in Retreat and go fishing with Fishy Bizness Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Andrew knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Cero Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Black Grouper, Nassau Grouper, Yellowedge Grouper, Almaco Jack, Lobster, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Andrew operates a 36' Walkaround that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Now, time to hit the water with Fishy Bizness Charters!
