Planning your fishing trip in Free municipal consortium of Trapani just got easier.

Here you won't be far from nearshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.

Paolo specializes in light tackle fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. You may also bottom fish, for your catch. Paolo will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

Amberjack, European Barracuda, Black Seabream, Garfish, Dusky Grouper, Leerfish (Garrick), Little Tunny (False Albacore) and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year.

Fish within size and bag limits are yours to keep. Have a cooler ready in the car! Your fishing machine will be a 50' Motor yacht that holds up to 10 passengers.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water, rain or shine.

Paolo will have some snacks and drinks for you. Paolo welcomes anglers of all ages on these trips, including kids. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own.
