Pecaćete na njegovom 24-stopnom Carolina skiff ribolovačkom čamcu, pogonjenom Honda motorom od 150 konjskih snaga, sa maksimalnom brzinom krstarenja od 35 čvorova. Ovaj brzi čamac je dovoljno širok za 4 osobe koje mogu udobno da se voze i pecaju. Sadrži najnoviju elektroniku obnovljenu 2015. godine, i svu sigurnosnu opremu koja vam je potrebna.
Kapetan Joey će vas voditi u ribolov na čuvenoj reci Roanoke na zimske Striper-e školske veličine sa lakim priborom. Možete uhvatiti više primeraka dok migriraju uz reku Roanoke do njihovih tradicionalnih mrestilišta.
Takođe možete ići na zimski ribolov na Shad sa mušičarskim štapovima i lakim priborom dok i oni migriraju uz lokalne reke radi mresta. Druge vrste u reci uključuju grgeča, žutog grgeča i soma.

Was rainy and unusually cold for first of May, and the river was low, but the captain continuously put us on fish. Caught plenty of stripers plus a few catfish and a spotted bass. Overall, was a fun outing in spite of the conditions.

Great 5 hour striped bass fishing trip with Captain Joey VanDyke

I really enjoyed my 5 hour striped bass fishing trip with Captain Joey VanDyke. We started the morning fishing live bait in the rapids which provided non-stop action. Since I was mainly focused on fly fishing, we then moved downstream a bit and had a great time catching stripers using clousers with a 10 weight and 350 grain sinking line. I really appreciated all of Captain Joey’s advice and knowledge about this fishery. He is very experienced and knowledgeable on tactics for catching these stripers on the fly rod, artificial lures and live bait. I would definitely recommend Captain Joey VanDyke and hope I will have a chance to fish with him again.

Captain Joey VanDyke was great. He was ready to go before we got there. He is familuar with the river and knows where the hot spots are. He was very patient with the kids and always ready to untangle a line. Always answered any questions they had. Hope to fish with captain Joey again.
