Big Jim's Charters je lokalni favorit već više od 30 godina u Juneau-u, na Aljasci, jer ovi momci uvek daju sve od sebe za svakog gosta. Znaju najbolja mesta za Lososa i Halibuta, i trudiće se da vam pruže uspešan izlet i uzbudljivo iskustvo. Rade od 1. maja do 15. septembra.
Naša posada i Kapetani su iskusni ribari. Njihov posao je da vam pomognu, nauče vas i dovedu vas do ribe.
Pecaćete na brodu kao novom 30-stopnom Offshore 2017 Duckworth-u sa 2023 twin motorima od 300 KS Mercury, koji vas brzo dovode do ribolovnih područja, krsteći brzinom od preko 30 čvorova. Brod ima privatni toalet, svu sigurnosnu opremu, kao i radar, plotere karata, Sonar fish finder, električne downrigere.
Kapetan Mike može da vas pokupi u marini Fisherman's Bend, gde ćete započeti svoju avanturu uz obalu i na otvorenom moru. Kada pecate Lososa, koristićete metodu sporog trollinga, jedan štap po ribolovcu. A kada pecate Halibuta, driftovanjem ćete jigovati pri dnu, takođe koristeći jedan štap po ribolovcu. Na ovaj način, svi će imati priliku da pecaju i ulove nešto za ukusan obrok.
Kada se vratite na dok, vaša riba će biti očišćena i filetirana za večeru, a ostatak može biti glave i iznutrice. Kapetan Mike će preporučiti pogon za preradu ribe koji može čuvati vašu ribu dok ne budete spremni da je pošaljete na vašu kućnu adresu.
Svi čarteri uključuju razgledanje i posmatranje kitova tokom ribolova, sav mamac, i vrhunske štapove i mašinice. Možemo organizovati prevoz od kruzera i povratak po ceni od oko 50,00 dolara u jednom pravcu za do 10 osoba, a taksi ćete morati sami da platite.

This Alaska fishing trip was BY FAR our best experience. The communication from the day I made the reservation until the trip was completed was first class. Our captain was amazing. We got our limit of Halibut within the 1st hour. With our extra time we saw whales, seals, harbor porpoises and eagles. We also picked up 7 Rockfish. I highly recommend Fishing Booker

The Captain and Levi were GREAT!!!

We had such an awesome and successful halibut fishing experience with Captain Jon and Landon! We chose an afternoon half day trip since our cruise ship didn’t dock until 9 am, and most morning/full day trips started at 8 am. Captain Jon took us to a great spot in Auke Bay, and as soon as we cast our lines, everyone on our boat immediately hooked on halibut, which kept happening every cast until we caught our keepers. With time left on the charter, we moved spots and started fishing for rockfish. In addition to fishing, Captain Joh stopped for us to see some local sea lions and humpback whales, which were on our route to our second fishing spot and back to the dock. The water was also relatively calm in the bay. My wife is prone to motion sickness even in the calmest of water, but didn’t have any issues. Overall an awesome experience and would definitely book this trip again in the future!

We went after salmon first. Caught a shaker king and a couple of legal salmon. Moved on to halibut and rock fish which we limited out in by noon. Back to salmon all afternoon with no results. Didn’t see any other boats with fish either. Lots of whales some bubble feeding. Great food and coffee provided with donuts

Didn’t catch any fish, but it is a little before the season. However, we saw a Humpback Whale and several Orcas. We got pretty close and got some great videos. Also got to see some eagles feeding, which was fun. Captain Terry and Dillon were great. Very personable and interesting to talk to. We had a great time.
