Fishin Magician Charters 

I had booked another boat the night before and he never answered until the next morning and said he couldn’t go because he couldn’t find a mate and his boat was down for repairs, I booked the fishin magician 15 minutes before the trip was supposed to start this morning but capt billy said we can go and he and his mate met me at his boat which was a 2 minute walk from my condo. I told capt Frankie I wanted to catch fish to eat ( red snapper season isn’t in now ) so he said we will troll for Spanish mackerel and the mate put out 4 rods although I was fishing alone and just like that 4 fish were on. By the time I reeled in 3 the 4 th had gotten off but we caught about 10 or so and said that’s enough. We stopped and caught some live bait for later on and started hitting bottom spots. We caught some big red snapper and trigger fish which we got a limit of. Then we went to a spot capt Frankie said we can catch vermillion snapper on and we caught my limit of them. A great thing about his boat is , in the enclosed cabin there is an ice cold air conditioner to sit under when going from spot to spot. When we got home We took our 4 hour old triggerfish to a restaurant and got them to cook them for us. It doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks capt. Frankie and first mate billy. I have a lot of fish to take home and enjoy for the moths to come.

Had a trip booked with someone else and they canceled last minute so got on fishingbooking and found Fishin Magician. Was able to book trip and got immediate confirmation with Capt. Frankie. We were novice salt water fishers and they took great care of us. We trolled on the way out to some spots the Capt. Frankie found for us. We caught lots of fish but 4 that were keepers. We had a great time and would definitely book with Fisher Magician again. They cleaned our catch and fileted them for us to take home. Thanks Capt. Frankie and Connor for making our experience enjoyable!

Despite the nasty weather conditions Captain Frankie made us feel comfortable and not rushed to get out right away due to a storm nearby. We gradually made our way out to start trolling but since the weather we weren’t able to fish for what we originally intended to but Captain Frankie and his deckhand Connor quickly switched up lures and we fished closer to shore for Spanish Mackerel and we caught quite a few! My kids and I had a lot of fun even though our trip was cut short! Was a great experience for a bunch of first timers! 10/10 would recommend!

Our family had a great trip on the 4th of July! We caught the limit—no monster fish but we didn’t care. First Mate Kasen was outstanding and Captain Bowen was too! Very personable and understanding. We would go again with this crew!

My family an I recently took a trip to Alabama for a World Series Baseball tournament. While visiting, we decided to go deep sea fishing. My husband was the only one of us who had been before. Although we all have some fishing experience, never in the ocean. I was very nervous about the expedition but after much research my husband found Fishin Magician. Right away the Captain and deckhand made us feel welcome and at ease. They were both laid back and helpful. We began bait fishing and then a nice ride out to our fishing spot (so thankful for calm seas). Bryant taught us to drop our lines, helped rebait, and even how to reel them in. It can be stressful fishing with kids ( 8,11 and 13)! Even after some broken lines, a “rats nest” and lost bait, Bryant was patient and kind. We weren’t quite to our limit and the Captain knew just what to do. He took us to another spot where the fish were plentiful. It was very exciting. We even got to see some dolphins! We ended the trip with some trolling and snagged a king fish and even a tuna. We had an awesome trip that we’ll never forget and hope to return soon. Thanks Fishin’Magician!!

Terrific day on the Gulf aboard the Fishin’ Magician! Captain Frankie didn’t waste any time putting us on fish and quickly moved to a different spot if they weren’t biting. Early in the season yet so he took us out a little deeper where we caught our limit of triggerfish along with vermillion and white snapper. Lot of reds too (catch and release). Bryant was wonderful - good company, kept bait on our hooks, and filleted up our keepers. We’d love to come back sometime when warmer waters bring up the migratory fish - and would definitely book this crew again! Thanks for the memories.

Capt Frankie and Hunter were great! Had some teens on the boat that got a little sick so we had to go back to the dock after an hour or so. Captain Frankie was very accommodating to them and the rest of the party went back out. I couldn’t thank him enough!!

Best trip ever!!! Captain Frankie was amazing. He took us out and put us right on the fish. His deckhand Brendan was very helpful and showed us exactly what to do and the best way to reel in the big red snapper. We ended up catching a ton of fish. The biggest being a 25 pound red snapper. Would definitely book with them again and would HIGHLY recommend them to others. Thanks again guys!!

Crew were super friendly and accommodating. Caught our limit with quickness and then trolled to fill the cooler. Definitely will call on them again. 6hr

Captain Frankie and 1st mate Tim, were absolutely amazing! Captain Frankie put us over fish and we were hammering them! Tim was outstanding and quick with getting fish off and new bait on! Definitely would recommend!
