Arms worn out hauling in Fish
3/4 Day Trip — Inshore on април 19, 2026 • 3 adults
We started bottom fishing and it was fast and furious. There were numerous doubles with large bottom fish and the crew even had to return safely two large yellow eye rockfish that are on the no keep list.
captain Joe and mate Jimmy kept us on fish for the entire morning and we final had to cry uncle. Time was still left so we tried for a tuna hook up to no availe. great day on the water. i would go with these guys again in a heart beat.

This trip was everything and more than I had hoped for. Captain Joe was amazing and so skilled. We caught 9 different species of fish!! 31 fish in less than 3 hours. Everyone caught several fish and it was so much fun and interesting. It was the perfect way for grandpa to take his grandkids on a fishing trip they will remember for years. Thank you Captain Joe!!!!

Caught plenty of fish!

The captain was very attentive and enthused about fishing! We had hoped to catch something bigger, but 25 whitefish, a sheep head fish and a huge rock fish was enough. The captain did attempt to catch some other kinds far off, but did not have success. He cleaned our fish for us and sent us home with a bounty!

Family fun and fish!

Our party consisted of six adults and there was enough room to fish comfortably. We were all relieved to see there was a bathroom on board. Captain Geno and first mate Shawn were very accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. They cared about our experience and made sure we all had fun!

If you’re looking for a 6 person fishing charter I wouldn’t look anymore cause this is the best fishing experience you will get! Captain Gene, fisherman Joe and fisherman Cody bring top of the line fishing gear, knowledge and vibes! Walked away with a total count of 35 fish between 5 of us on a half day trip, the fishing is supreme and the crew treats you like family and not just a customer. I will book Coletta Fishing every time I’m in San Diego.
