California Striped Bass Fishing Charters

If you can think of nothing better than cruising down one of NorCal's famous rivers, this is the trip for you! depending on the season, which fish can be caught and where may differ, but target species could include Rainbow Trout, Salmon, Striped Bass, and Sturgeon. You'll be able to fish in one of 3 rivers: the Sacramento River, Feather River, or Yuba River. Capt. Pete will be in touch after you book to discuss these details with you. All your fishing gear is included, so just bring a license.

This 4-hour fishing and sightseeing adventure explores the bay and inshore area of San Diego Bay. Target in-season species like Pacific Barracuda, White Seabass, Halibut, and other Seabass varieties in shallower waters. Enjoy the scenic views along with bait, ice, tackle, and fish cleaning included on this trip.

Stripers run out of Pacific Ocean into the Sacramento River to spawn each spring. This is an awesome time of year to get out on the water and battle with these hard fighting (good tasting) fish. We've boated Stripers up to 35.5 pounds and 44" long. Stripers reach 60 pounds in the Sacramento River. We target big fish! Launch points will be determined by where you will be able to catch fish. We will fish until we get limits or 5-6 hours if it takes that long. Great fishing for kids!

Striped bass are some of the hardest fighting and best tasting freshwater fish! A day of fishing for stripers is sure to be action packed and full of fish! We fish for stripers on the Sacramento or Feather river during April ans May. We use many different techniques depending on river conditions and fish behaviors.

Fish the bay for Striped Bass, Halibut, and Shark, all within 10 minutes of shore. All of your rods and reels for the day are provided. Live bait is prepared in advance for you so no precious fishing time is wasted. You are welcome to bring along food and drink. Please buy a fishing license before the trip.

Live bait drifting or trolling for Delta Stripers. The boat departs at 7:00 a.m. and returns by 3:00 p.m. at the latest. If limits are reached earlier, we will return earlier. Please arrive by 6:45 a.m. so we can depart on time.

The early hours of the morning can be the best time to take advantage of feeding fish! We will leave the dock early enough to ensure we can make it to the best spot before anyone else who may be headed there! We will fish for 8 hours or until we catch the limit of fish which is very normal!

We will be fishing any one of our local reservoirs, rivers or streams (pending availability). Lakes/Reservoirs could be, but not limited to: El Capitan, Hodges, Miramar, Murray, Otay, and San Vicente Lake permits are included.
