These fish are not the biggest, usually ranging in size between 2–10 pounds. But once you hook one, you’ll be surprised at how fast they’ll take off with your entire fishing line. Since they spook so easily, the best way to catch them is by poling your boat through the water or wading on foot.

The most famous place to go bonefishing in Florida is no doubt Islamorada. No other place boasts as many Bonefish records as these five islands in the Keys. The peak season for Bonefish here is from March to October. Key West and Miami are two other bonefishing hotspots.
