Exploring the nearshore waters out of Norfolk, VA, will see you waste no time in going fishing. Within minutes, you'll cast your line, as you try bottom fishing and trolling for beauties such as Cobia, Redfish, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Amberjack and Spanish Mackerel. Explore a range of fishing grounds, test out a range of techniques, and head home with plenty of meat to enjoy.
The trip lasts from to and is flexible. These 4 hours include travel to and from the fishing location. A 6-person maximum for the trip. Itinerary is a guideline. Species vary by season and weather. There will be a 20% gratuity for mate, fish cleaning, and packaging.

Fishing inside the Chesapeake Bay within 15 miles of the marina using a variety of techniques to target requested species or whatever species has the hot bite. 20% tip for a mate is customary.
Bottom fishing artificial reefs for sheepshead, tautog, red drum, black drum and many other tasty bottom fish!! Booking the full day will allow you to get out to further reefs, wrecks ,and site casting opportunities were not able to make on the 4hr trips. Site fishing for Cobia 6 -15 to 9-20 ) ( 4 person max )

Catered to Serious anglers looking for a once in a lifetime experience fighting the elusive Chesapeake Bay Cobia. We provide premium live bait and high end rods and reels for this epic fishing adventure. On sunny days we will primarilly sight fish as Cobia like to wake in the sun and are easilly spotted to the trained eye. On overcast windy days we primarilly chum for them. Please note mate works for tips only and 20% is customary in charter fishing.

A small cooler in your car is handy for fillets after the trip.

Productive areas include the lower Chesapeake Bay, the Hampton Roads inlets, the mouth of the Bay, and the edges around the Chesapeake Bay Bridge‑Tunnel. Boats also work nearshore ocean shoals off Virginia Beach when conditions allow. Your captain will choose spots based on weather, tides, and water clarity.
