    Awesome!

Our captain was Andy and he was awesome! Super kind and helpful! He had a spotless rig that was equipped with everything we needed! He knew right where to go and we caught our limit! Cleaned them up for us in a jiffy. I highly recommend booking with Unreel Guide Service! You will not be disappointed!

(Full Day Trip - Open Water)

    Nothing but Hawgs!

Asked Dustin to come to the lake I live on. My usual spots weren’t productive anymore. He showed me several new spots to try in the spring, summer, fall and winter. He found a great spot and put us on big walleye and some crappies along with a few bass and northerns. The boat and equipment is top notch! We all went home with fish to eat. He even cleans your catch for you! Fun was had by all of us on board! Definitely recommend him to anyone considering a guided trip.

Crappie fishing is a favorite across North America. Anglers love these tasty Panfish for steady action and fun fights. Black Crappie and White Crappie school up, which means fast bites when you find them. They live in lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and slow rivers, so access is easy for most anglers.

You can catch Crappie with simple gear. Use light spinning tackle and 2–6 lb line. Small jigs work great; a jig is a weighted hook with soft plastic. Tip it with a minnow or fish a live minnow under a bobber. Cast near brush, docks, weed edges, or submerged timber. In spring, try shallow coves. In summer and winter, look a bit deeper around structure.

Expect a relaxed, family‑friendly trip with lots of bites when the school turns on. This is a great choice for kids and first‑timers, but seasoned anglers enjoy the pattern game too. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, snacks, and a cooler with ice for any legal keepers. Dress for the weather and be ready for early morning or late afternoon peaks.

Before you go, check local rules. Most places require a fishing license or permit. Seasons, gear rules, and harvest limits can change by state or province. Always review current regulations where you plan to fish.
