Experience the fun and exciting inshore fishery off of Dana Point. A great trip for the family or a group looking to get out on the water to enjoy a few hours of fishing and local sightseeing. We will target our local reefs for our inshore species and run offshore if we hear of big game fish close to home. A great trip for all experience levels.
Spend the morning fishing for halibut, spotted bay bass, bonefish, and sharks in the calm waters of San Diego Bay. These trips are perfect for those who may get seasick or prefer not to spend a full day at sea. Live bait is not included but can be purchased for an additional fee. Please note the trip is primarily catch and release. Maximum of 4 people per trip.
We offer morning and afternoon half-day trips. The morning trip runs from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The afternoon trip runs from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each trip accommodates up to 3 people.

Target local game fish in the nearshore and offshore waters. Go after Mahi Mahi, Lingcod, Rockfish, Barracuda, and more. The crew will prepare your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks, but feel free to bring your own. You can keep the catch afterward and the crew will fillet it for you.

This short trip offers the same possibilities as the option. It's an all-inclusive trip (other than a fishing license) for up to 6 passengers. It's a great option for beginners, families with kids, and those who don't want to stay on the water for too long. Food) for up to 6 passengers.
Well start the day catching some live bait that we will use to entice the famous California Halibut to chomp on. We will be using several different techniques to catch these fish including drifting, trolling, amd live bait fishing.
Headed out to the local kelp beds, rock piles, and artificial reefs. Fishing for Bass, Rockfish, Barracuda, Sculpin, and Lingcod. Dependent on season and conditions. Family and kid friendly! Light snacks and drinks are provided. Please bring your fishing license.

Most crews drift live Anchovy, Sardine, or Squid over sandy bottoms. Bottom fishing with jigs also works when fish hold near structure. Your captain watches tides, then sets slow drifts so baits sweep past waiting fish.
Trips range from quick inshore runs to full-day offshore missions in the north. Tackle, bait, and safety gear are usually provided. Bring a fishing license, sun protection, layers, and motion sickness remedies if needed. This is a great choice for families, first-timers, and food-minded anglers.
Top areas include San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, and the La Jolla kelp line. Los Angeles and Long Beach harbors, Santa Monica Bay, and the Channel Islands are proven grounds. Farther north, try Monterey Bay, San Francisco Bay, Tomales Bay, and Bodega Bay. Near the Oregon border, Eureka, Trinidad, and Crescent City see Pacific Halibut in season.
