(5 Hour Trip Mid Week Quicky)

Grew crew and we had a great time

Great crew super knowledgeable and helpful. We were celebrating a 12th bday for my Son and his friends. They spent the time to go around to each and everyone, seeing if they needed help, providing tips and to make sure the boys were all catching something, which we all did. They are really nice guys who love what they do and it shows. Couldn’t thank them enough for a fantastic days fishing.

Perfect trip for locals or tourists

Could not ask for better time. Captain Tony was very communicative in the planning process. Between Tony and first mate John, they were so attentive throughout the trip helping all levels of experience in our group. We were catching fish within minutes of settlinginto our spot

    (Kingfish and Reef)

    Good Friday morning fishing trip

It was a popular place for the kingfish this particular day. So we kept going and looked for a good place to catch what was available on the day. We did well considering the amount of other boats out there as well. For the first hour and a half we were followed by a group of three or four other boats whom were interested in learning from the charter what to do it seemed. I would go back out with this boat and crew again.

Morwong fishing targets hard-fighting reef fish known for firm, tasty fillets and steady action. These fish live around rocky reefs and drop-offs and often feed in groups. Anglers prize them for reliable bites, simple tactics, and a great first saltwater catch.

You will most often use reef fishing and bottom fishing. Drop baits like squid, prawns, or cuttlefish to the seafloor near structure. A two-hook dropper rig, also called a paternoster, keeps baits just off the bottom with a sinker below. Light to medium tackle works well. Slow pitch jigs and soft plastics can also tempt bigger fish when they are active.

Expect a calm, methodical style of fishing with frequent nibbles and short runs. Bites can be subtle, so keep the line tight and lift to set the hook. This is ideal for families, first-timers, and anyone who enjoys steady reef action. Bring sun protection, a hat, non-slip shoes, and a light jacket. Pack sea-sickness tablets if you are new to boat trips. A cooler with ice helps keep your catch in top shape where keeping fish is allowed.

Before you go, check local rules for fishing licenses or permits. Confirm any open seasons, size and bag limits, gear rules, and marine protected areas. Regulations change by location and can update often. When unsure, ask your captain or local authority and release fish safely if a rule is unclear.
