Great Day at Sea
Our fishing trip was great thanks to Captain Wade! He was so helpful showing us how to fish, setting up our rig, and cleaning our fish. The fishing spots he took us to was great too, and we caught lots of fish. I would call them again for another trip. thanks again, Captain Wade and Captain Tim.

Beginners Luck!
Had a great time with Captain John. He took great care of a boat full of inexperienced anglers. Would recommend him highly. Especially great with kids. We appreciated his help when the girls caught a 3.5 foot shark!

Great trip with a great Captain!
This was my wife and I's first ocean fishing experience and Captains choice was the best choice. We caught quite a few fluke, some sea robins, one dogfish shark, and a large skate. If you are looking to target a specific species just reach out and they will advise you honestly abut the best time of year and honest chances of success. Wonderful people and we will be back with our children next time!

So much fun!
Captain Larry had a gleaming, clean boat, and was well organized and very efficient. He took us to several spots and we took home sand bass and sculpin, and my son caught a couple of barracuda, which definitely made his day! We only wish we’d booked a longer trip!
O Sculpin ribolovu
Sculpin are bottom-dwelling fish known for big heads, spiky fins, and bold camouflage. Anglers target them because they bite year-round in many places and make excellent table fare. They live around rocks, reefs, jetties, and wrecks, where they pounce on an easy meal.
The most common way to catch Sculpin is bottom fishing. Use light to medium spinning gear, a sensitive rod, and a fluorocarbon leader. Drop bait like shrimp, squid, or small bait fish right to the bottom. Short strips and small jigs also work well. Keep your rig tight to the structure and lift gently to avoid snags.
Expect steady action close to the bottom with quick, pecking bites. This is a relaxed, hands-on trip that suits beginners and families, yet it keeps experienced anglers busy. Wear grippy shoes for rocky spots, and bring sun protection and layers. Handle fish with care due to sharp dorsal spines. In some areas, related Scorpionfish have venomous spines, so use a dehooker or gloves and follow your crew’s guidance.
Rules for Sculpin can change by area. Before you go, check local fishing license and permit requirements. Review current seasons, protected areas, and harvest rules such as size and bag limits. When in doubt, ask your captain about the latest regulations.
